Vince Demiti/Elizabeth Hopkins WPRI/WNAC

I just have to give Kudo's to Vince and Elizabeth on WPRI.Vince has awsome delivery and Elizabeth is an excellant sidekick for him.
Also Kudo's to WNAC for a localy produced News Magazine show(Rhode Show). I think you are going to see more of this type of programming in the future.Locally produced shows. This is an old tactic that went away to the world of syndication.Glad to see it comming back.

It's the laid back newscast. Done in the style of Good Day LA and The Morning Buzz. Nothing new about it. Just new to this market. I think it's good. But I also think 8 AM is a rough time for any show. People are either on there way to work or school. People without a job are probably still sleeping. People who worked third shift and just got home are already sleeping. There are probably less people tuned into a TV at 8 AM than any other hour of the day with the exception of 4 AM.

I've seen the show though and I like it. But I don't like it enough to tune away from The Today show on a regular basis. The Rhode Show needs to get a little crazier to keep me tuned in. They need an attractive wacked out weather girl like Jillian. Maybe loosen up even a little more. Nutty is good in the morning. It's a fun way to start the day.
