Vince McMahon's death

I read that they finally showed one of those memorial pictures for Sherri right before the women's match. They probably would've shown it at the beginning like they always do, but they couldn't interfere with McMahon's death. He really is a scumbag.

I took that as an insult to her. To me, Sherri's speech at last year's Hall Of Fame ceremony was more memorable than even Bret Hart's was. It helped that she ripped a heckler in the audience as well!

R.I.P. Sensational Sherri :(

RIP : Sensational_Sherri .

I do agree, sherri should have been given more respect.

Also, Kevin L - i was in attendance, at the 2005, Great American Bash!
thx i couldnt remember if that was '04, or 2005 - good times!

I here you!

Terrible job by the WWE! I know they didn't want to go to detail on how

she died for respect, but that was a waste of time. I hope they choke on

whatever ratings they get. Milking it all the way for a 3 hour primetime special

for USA so they can get bigger ratings !

I've always known the writers for the WWE were idiots and total losers, but

this just tops the cake. Stephanie McMahon should have walked on hot coals

for coming up with the worst angle in 5 years.

If I were John Cena, Edge, and the new ECW champion, I would boycott

next Monday in protest because of it. Because any company is strong by

how the leaders react. TNA should be somewhat happy is that they may

get to shine because of it. If they know how to work it right.

This is the chance they took when they used a "death" angle. They got bit.. I'm sure...in fact, I'm positive that they would have devoted more time to Ms Martel, had the fed not been engaged in this "roll of the dice" storyline. She wasnt enshrined into the Hall of Fame on a pass. She was every bit a champion wrestler as she was a manager/valet. While the Fabulous Moolah opened the door for Women in Wrestling, Sherri kicked the damn door in with strength, sexiness and an appreciation of the business, its workers and fans.

No doubt that many of the veteran wrestlers who either worked with Sherri or at least were active during her heyday, felt frustrated at the timing of her death vs Vinces "demise".

I ll digress. Looks like you can get a steady gig if you publicly argue with the Ultimate Warrior. The Iron Shiek has been on Raw three straight weeks. The one time WWE(F) Champion hasnt seen this much pub in a decade.....

As best as I can tell, so far Mr. Kennedy is the only person who has said that "Vincent K. McMahon" as died and not Mr. McMahon. Major problem.

I read something on the radio this afternoon that the stockholders are pretty pissed (for lack of a better term) regarding the "Mr. McMahon death angle". Because of the "death angle", the WWE stock plummented, and the stockholders could end up suing Vince and the company.

Way to go, Vince.

I would like to find out where this story originated because the stockholders had to know something like this would happen.

For something different relating to this subject, I wonder if the audience was coached not to yell "What" in between each and every pause during Stephanie McMahon's speech on Raw. The crowd was dead silent when they had no right to be.

Glad you are not my broker, dude. So what exactly did you "read" on the radio that day?

WWE stock has traditionally peaked in the spring, around its "Wrestlemania" ..then tails off as the summer months begin...as it has this time...
its down from a 5/3 high of 18.60 to a close Wednesday of 16.89

Its still rated as a "strong buy" by people who know whats going on.

My ears may have deceived me, but I sure thought I heard some "What?!" action. Granted, it wasn't as strong as usual. Perhaps this is what you were referring to?

They also refrained from the "sl*t" chants that Steph usually gets.

Did the WWE start this thread? Vince is that you? The CNBC story that said investors could sue was ridiculous (http://www.cnbc.com/id/19307528/site/14081545/?site=14081545) so much so when the WWE responded they claimed the writer was a suspect. (http://www.cnbc.com/id/19330600) Kennedy said Vincent K. McMahon, major problem? There is no problem it is a story, the company is not in trouble, no one is being investigated. I love the story, the whodunit going on WWE.com makes this very clearly a wrestling storyline. Do investors in Tom Cruise movies talk about suing when he dies? No. Stop. This is ridiculous.

It is almost getting to the point where people in the crowd should hold up signs saying, "I Killed Mr. McMahon!" It's right up there with whoever or whatever kills Kenny on South Park. The fans should be having total fun with this one. Crapping on it and having that fun interaction with all of the "grieving" McMahon family members. Only reason they are really crying is that they can't believe the crowd has not erupted to screw them in the brain through the eardrum.

All I got to say to the Live WWE crowds on television is to get freakin' loud and let them hear it already!

By the way, one more week of Joey Styles playing the seriously McMahon is dead business on ECW and I would vote to remove him from the booth and send him back to Atlanta to work along with Ted Turner to form another "Big Time Rasslin'" promotion.

*oops, i was dupped, shown footage from *last* year's fourth of july.
so, did dX do it? who cares....lol, it would be awesome if

"TED TURNER" was the one responsible.

-

as far as the crowd, maybe out of lack of energy, or
some frustration/aggrivation(?sp), they refrained from
yelling any thing....being totally drained of any passion;
and almost not wanting to be there... decided
by this hour, who cares, about chanting any thing,
and just wanted to go home!

ps: if the announcer said, PLEASE dont cheer,
....how many fans, would honor that ?
i think that would make them even more
obnoxious to be heard/loud,etc...

i think this angle of Vince's death, will have
a "who shot, mr burns/dallas" saga to it...
but with a twist, when supserstar's
(say, undertaker, for example ) start to confess
and say "You got me!" it was me....
-
others superstars will interrupt, and say some thing
to the effect of need not cover for me...
and randy orton will say
"undertaker every one knows it was me..."

only to have him interrupted by.....
some one, and have that person
take responsibilty...etc,etc.

-only to have mcmahon return
at summerslam, and truely never
find out whom did this...and shortly the
storyline will be never mentioned again!

I'm sorry...it was something I HEARD on the radio, just relaying the information. Whether it the story is accurate or not, who knows? And honestly, I don't really care.

I don't think the word "Lawsuit" has entered the equation fully as of yet, but there is one shareholder that went public as being pissed off with the angle. To what extent is anybody's guess right now.

What if this was to be the case, they do all of this dragging the "death" angle out to find out the Jackass boys rigged the car leading to a Summerslam match of Steve O. and one of the other Jackasses vs. Vince and Shane. Knowing the WWE, they would run with this idea.
