Vince Thomas at WSUS

Anyone know what happend to Vince Thomas at WSUS?

He hasn't been on the air the past few weeks. Long vacation? Illness? Is he out of a job? Is George Fuller now the drivetime host?

Answers please. Thanks :)

On WSUS' website he's still listed as a personality, which means he's probably still an employee. If you go to his page and read his blog, you'll see he had leg surgery in early March and then found out a week later that he needed additional surgery. My guess is that he's recovering. But...that's just a guess. Why not drop him a line? There's an e-mail link on the page. He might check it while he's home, you never know.

I did check the website a while ago to see if he was still listed and he was of course, but I still questioned it because they still have 'Tom Rocco' listed and he hasn't been on in a couple of years.

Assuming he had a blood clot in his leg, that would explain why he's been out. I know a couple of people who've had blood clots and it resulted in at least a few weeks of recovery.

Hope he gets well and returns soon. As for now, George Fuller is doing a good job, as always, filling in.

Holy crap! I didn't relize it was THAT! Poor guy one of the nicest people I worked with.....funny too! Keep the battle going buddy!

Thanks for posting the link.

Vince will stay in my prayers during this difficult time in his life. Jeez, life can throw you some pretty hard balls.

Hopefully he'll be back to feeling healthy soon.
