vinnie brown takes over kjlh

former wbls and wlib operations mgr. vinnie brown is now the exe. v.p of kjlh, can he work east coast magic with stevie's station?

I wonder if this is the same Vinnie Brown I worked with at WAMO in Pittsburgh, PA back in the late '70s? He did morning drive there-good guy too.

Hi folks...NYC area radio fan here that visits Southern California about once a year. Just trying to possibly connect some dots & speculate: Since Vinny was at the helm at 98.7 WRKS ("KISS") FM NYC and 107.5 WBLS-FM NYC while Wendy Williams worked at both outlets, is it possible that her show could be picked up in syndication on KJLH in L.A.? Would her talk show fit in with their format? I know she's been discontinued at 100.3 "The Beat" L.A. & now KDAY-93.5 L.A., not completely her fault on either account (I think-please let me know otherwise), but how were her ratings on both stations? Plus she'd be back on a limited signal again like KDAY's. Would it be worth the trouble? Does Mr. Brown believe in Wendy enough to bring her back to L.A.? All food for thought. Thanks.
