I ran into him by accident at the Arsenio Hall show about 15 years ago. I was in the front row and he was about 6 rows behind me. I turned around and waved. He was with his girlfriend and he asked me (jokingly) how I got such good seats and if i would trade. I laughed and told him to enjoy the show. He seemed cool. I think that particular girfriend is long gone though.
 
What's this about anyway? That article in the Prov Journal about him doing some staged reading appearance somewhere? I guess Books Are Wings didn't need any guest speakers.
