Vintage Pittsburgh Radio Jingles

Perhaps this is my radio geekyness showing, but does anyone have any recommendations of websites that have vintage Pittsburgh radio station jingles? I know there are quite a few on YouTube for WTAE-AM and some for KQV-AM, but not too much from the Pittsburgh market as compared to other vintage radio jingles I find online from other stations outside the Pittsburgh market.

Anyway, if anyone has any recommendations of where I can hear such old things, let me know. Are there any vintage Pittsburgh radio jingles that are still with you today?

All The Best.

Top on the Dial WZUM, OOOOOWop WZUM another Yesterplay." The AM and FM home Of the Super Stars and the Super Survay This is the Double WAMO, What do you you Know You Know WAMO" Great Jingles. Don"t Forget "MON Valley WESA AM FM Charlaroi"

"This is Pittsburgh...and this is Wide World of WYDD...to widen the world of Pittsburgh!"

"About ten hundred and twenty miles from Paris, France, you'll find Clark Race on KDKA, Pittsburgh"

"Solid Gold, "TAE, the Great American Music Machine, in Pittsburgh, WTAE".....sung to the tune of Peggy Sue.

LOL. Terrible jingles. Part of a Heller package from 1967 that didn't make much sense.

It was actually something like, "About 10 hundred and 20 miles from the Gulf of Mexico, you'll find Clark Race....landing a big fish....Clark Race on KDKA Pittsburgh."

This is W W S W, 24 hours a day... We're on the air to greet you... from Pittsburgh P A... W W S W

K D K A, Pittsburgh, on your dial at Ten Twenty... there were more words in a long version, but I can't seem to remember them.

The Sounds in the Spirit of the Point - WPNT Pittsburgh <Insert Boat Horn>

I still have the original Air Cart of that.

Would love to hear that again. I was an intern/board op when they dropped the WPNT. I was at a local electronics store and was listening to a stereo and wondered why I didn't hear it at the top of the hour. I went into work late Friday night and they were yanking out all the music that was "not lite enough." Was very bummed to not hear that any longer.

As the story goes Nat had that boat go up and down the river and here and there a few times just to get the right sound..

I wouldn't doubt it. I loved working for him. One of my projects was to catalog the music and in my lack of 60-70's music, I titled the Dave Clark Five, the Dick Clark Five. He laughed about that for quite a while....

I know what jingle you're talking about, and have a copy of it somewhere in my archives.

Try this one on for size:

"Sound One sounds wonderful.
It's KDKA, Pittsburgh.
Wherever you go, whatever you do,
take KDKA right along with you.

There's fabulaous entertainment at 10-20 Radio.
Fantastic personalities, accuarate newscasts to keep you in the know.

Set your dial for excitement at Sound One for fun.
KDKA, Pittsburgh, P-AAAAAAye."

As always: G-F#-F-E-G-D.
