Virgin Islands Streamers

One of the more uniquely located urban ACs out there WWKS is back streaming after many years from the caribbean. This station runs Hits and Oldies from ABC Radio's The Touch most of the time I believe.

Hip and Hop R and B (and reggae) Sister station WVJZ is also back streaming.

I had WWKS on today. Alot more local programming than I heard several years ago on their old stream. The format is still Urban AC mixed with some carribbean. At night though I heard them simulcasting a carribbean pop music show with hip hop sister WVJZ I think.

Isle 95 is another interesting station in the Virgin Islands market. This station has long streamed. I guess the format is chr/rhythmic mixed with Carribbean pop. The thing that really stands out on the station is the "reverb" on the announcers and commercials. Not too many stations use reverb these days. I think WGCI still does.

I had Cool 96 from Nassau on this afternoon. It was urban AC mixed with Carribbean pop. Nighttime though is a Quiet Storm show.
