96 Rock/Atlanta's Tim "Virgin Murray" Frasier Heads To Playboy Radio
Frasier
ALL ACCESS hears that CLEAR CHANNEL Rock WKLS (96 ROCK)/ATLANTA "REGULAR GUYS SHOW" producer TIM "VIRGIN MURRAY" FRASIER has resigned to join SIRIUS SATELLITE RADIO's PLAYBOY RADIO as morning show producer, based in LOS ANGELES.

This guy has certainly had an interesting career here in Atlanta. He's been with 96rock since 1999. Outside of his work on The Regular Guys Show, he did onair shifts on 96rock under the names "Murray" and "Frasier". Many blamed him for the backwards porn incident that got TRG fired in 2004. He was one of the first jocks on 96.7 The Buzz under the onair name "Dank". In the final days of the 96.7 version of the station, he was hosting the afternoon show, known as "The Dank Show". When The Buzz moved to 105.3, he was not brought along until February of this year when "Dank" returned to host on Sundays from 3pm - 7pm.
Playboy Radio certainly is a interesting opportunity. I'm however quite sad he is leaving. I especially enjoyed "The Dank Show" back on 96.7. After that station ended, I've always sort of felt he should have gotten better than he did. While he is best known in many ways here as a producer, I think his real talents lie in onair work. I've always found him quite entertaining and have always tried to tune in whenever he was on the air on 96rock or The Buzz.
