Virgin Radio Beat - 05/11/2006 - KISW, BJ Shea

Re: Virgin Radio Beat - ALREADY POSTED

It's already on here

Re: Virgin Radio Beat Posts

I will if a weekly Virgin report is worth posting... ::)

I actually like reading Virgin's column. I'm not sure why you guys bash it so hard. It's nice to see a daily paper giving radio the space. KISW is totally kicking ass, as I knew they would. BJ will rule mornings for men.

To the contrary, I think Bill Virgin is a fine columnist for the P.I. He's someone who offers objective reports about topics, including radio once a week. Yes, he does a run down of radio shows that few will end up hearing (e.g., Lizz Sommars on at 7:00 A.M. on Sunday morning), but his main articles are fine. Some have been quite good. I bet a lot of cities would like a column like his in their papers, when considering, from what I can tell, that radio reporting is mostly a void in the print media. I meant no harshness when offering to give away the privilege of linking to his articles. As long as they show up readers can decide for themselves whether or not to click and read them.
