Virgin RADIO BEAT 9-22

OOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHH!!! So is Liz Sommars. Night draws near in Baghdad, sounds like an uplifting piece.

Art Thiel is going on KPLU? Does this indicate an end to a relationship with Robin and Maynard. Say it is so, Bill! Say it is so!

To be fair, circulation numbers for a lot of major newspapers are lagging.

Getting radio exposure is something the papers love...it gets exposure to the columnist and the newspaper itself. There have been other columnists who have been close to begging to get on the radio (possibly jealous of John Clayton's success).

You gotta have a little swagger to be good -- read some columns from other large market sports columns to see my point. Thiel has been a good columnist for quite awhile.
