Virginia Tech coverage....

Yesterday the story broke on what is truly one of the most tragic days in the history of our nation. New developments coming in at a rapid fire pace and while our TV's were capturing each and every horrifying detail, I had an meeting that was about 45 minutes away. No problem, I'll just turn on WHP so I can stay updated right? After all, aren't they our news source? Yea, right. Nope, whoever is filling in for Durgin decides that school primary taxes and local revenue sharing amongst school districts are more important. WTF?!
Who is running this place? Are you kidding me? Sad, sad, sad.

You said it correctly who's running that place?!?! In listening to stations from the Midwest to the South, ALL were doing continuous coverage on the Virginia Tech massacre. The management team, including g.m., operations manager, news direction and PD should be fired for this. Then again, this is the limited mentally of an operation such as this! They blew it!

On a related note, Fox News Radio's coverage sucked! They did up dates every 20 minutes or so, but no continuous coverage. Not even the VT briefings on their longform channel! We had to take the Fox TV feed form continuous coverage, and Metro Source's longform channel for the briefings.
