Interesting that this week the corporate mouse moved Radio Disney to be part of Disney Channel management tier. RD was always a completely separate entity from the ABC radio networks (which actually makes sense) and definitely separate from the O&O's (although in LA Radio Disney does share a roof with the O&O stations). One might think in LA they'd be out in Burbank with the corporate side of Disney or even out in Anaheim at the theme park!!? The networks are based in a Dallas suburb.
If I recall correctly (and I rarely do any more), the ABC net's are basically the old "Satellite Music Network" that competed with Transtar in the 1980's.
