Virtual Slave Labor at Sportstalk Network

A source close to the disaster at 5500 South Marginal Rd has confirmed that virtual slave labor continues to be employed at Sportstalknetwork.com.

Paul Belfi's internet radio station has lost six employees since late October. Morning show host Joe Lull left first, to be followed by Sales Manager Rob Reynolds, afternoon talker Reid Ditzler, web designer Jim Maise, and most recently afternoon personalities Mike James and Dartrell Chapman.

Apparently Mr. Belfi hasn't paid his employees since early October, and there are no signs of the matter being resolved any time soon. He is thousands of dollars in debt to a multitude of individuals, some of which are working at WKNR. Surprisingly, he has yet to be held accountable.

If the individuals involved have signed contracts it would be wise of them to take action. It doesn't matter what kind of cash-flow problems an organization has, there is no excuse for mistreating loyal employees in this way.

Its a shame. When SportstalkCleveland was affiliated with WKNR it wasn't half bad. Internet talk radio has some potential, but its apparent the individuals involved with this particular operation have no clue what they're doing.
