Well, I purchased this Pinnacle 500-USB video converter from Best Buy. It has the RCA inputs, so all you do is hook your VCR up to it, plug into the USB port and install. The included software, Studio Version 10, couldn't even start, so I used Windows Movie Maker to capture.

Unfortunately, I have some bad news. Since I thought I didn't need the software, I threw away the Studio discs. Well, how stupid am I? Who does that? So last night, I unhooked the converter from the USB port so I can put some songs on my MP3 player. When I hooked it back up, I needed the disc to install the software again. Without it, it doesn't work, and I'm screwed. So I can't put up anymore clips for now.

Thanks for the instructions. But that totally stinks that you threw away the CDs. Someone made a good suggestion, maybe you can try to download the drivers at the product manufacturer's website.
