Visual Problems at Channel 2

Is this only happening on my cable system or have others found the same problem while watching WCBS 2?

It happens maybe once or twice an hour, especially when I think Channel 2 is switching between network commercials and local commercials. For just a second, the picture loses its color and does a roll.

I've been noticing this for about a month now, wondering why nobody at Channel 2 has fixed it. But since I'm the first person to post about it, maybe it's only a problem on my cable system (RCN).

Has anyone else noticed it?

I'm nearly positive it wouldn't be the cable system unless RCN is inserting cable system specific programming over the WCBS-TV feed. Sounds very unlikely. What your describing sounds very much like a station that has at least one video source not running through a frame sync. It may not show up in master control there, but surely someone who works at the station watches from home, right?
