I just noticed this new station was just added to the Dance Station list. IM getting ready to check it out...So anyway, what can I expect from this station? Do they play good House music, and mayby some Trance mixed in, with some occassional R&B????? I dont know, Im checking it out right now, but I am only on my second song......Much props goes to CHRLES for keeping this growing list of Dance Stations up to date./ Chrles is def one of my top 5 FAV posters, and I feel this board would totally suck without him..........This station cant be that bad if its from Belguim,,, They have a killer Club Scene, and several Kick azz radio stations there. I really like RGR fm,, TOPRADIO, and Crazy Fm, Tempo fm, and of course (CHR-DANCE)Hit fm 104.7

Actaully during this part of the day VITAL fn doenst seem to be playing any kind of Dance at all.....Perhaps they daypart.

Thank You :)

First up, let me start by thanking you for the kind words. I have to say, this board (and others) wouldn't be the same without you as well. You help me and others find about more good new stations, you bring up new music, and raise good questions about the industry.

As for Vital, since they're a new webcaster I think they keep switching their stream link. Right now it's this:
http://belstream.be:9100/

The easiest way to know what Vital's stream is by going to its website, and clicking "playlist".

Vital FM, at least everytime I've checked it, has been Dance or Dance Leaning. Perhaps Midwestclubber and they only go Dance starting in the afternoons/evenings. I'm listening to them right now, and they just played Kraftwerk's "The Model"!!! Talk about a Dance classic. But the follow up song is a simple Pop/Rock French tune.

Usually Dance stations from France and from the French part of Belgium (Wallonia) tend to focus on good upbeat House music. A good example would be "The Drill" by the Drill, Bob Sinclair's "Love Generation", Supafly vs. Fishbowl "Let's get Down", Blaze "Precious Love", Mylo's "Doctor Pressure", Axwell's "Together", anything by David Guetta, anything by Martin Solveig, D.O.N.S "Pump Up The Jam"

The Dutch part of Belgium (Flanders), like Holland's radio stations, plays a LOT more Trance and high energy Euro-Trance in regular rotation.

Belgium Rocks!!

Whilst in Brussels on holiday I noticed they have good dance radio. I had my handy little radio and programmed in at least 3 or 4 all dance stations.

Also, where's the latest updated listing of dance stations?
______________

It's always updated over here:

On occasion, every few months or so, I'll post the list on this board as well for obvious reasons ;)

So how long were you in Brusseles? What impressed you the most about the city? How long were you there?

Ah, okay, it's over on the Internet streaming board...

I was in Brussels for about 4 days. It was a side-trip when I went to Paris last month (just over 1 hour away via TGV). What impressed me most was the lingual diversity. Signs were in French, Dutch, German, and English at some times. TV was crazy too, I counted 8 languages total. Brussels doesn't feel as old as some cities in Europe (I think the wars affected it) but has cool things to see and do there.

Of course I'm partial to Paris (who wouldn't!) but they don't have much good dance radio there. Oh and speaking a decent share of the language makes a difference when you visit.
______________

Paris is pretty cool for Dance - Radio FG is based out of Paris, and you should be able to pick it up anywhere in the metro area. Fun Radio, which can be heard nationwide (as well as in Belgium in many areas) plays about 30-40 percent Dance in regular rotation.
They play a decent amount of Dance hits on France's leading CHR, Radio NRJ (the original Energy station), and Paris's local CHR 96.9 Radio Voltage.
