Vivian Schiller goes from NPR to NBC

She should feel right at home going from one left-wing organization to another.
...the only way the moderate NPR and corporatist NBC could appear "left-wing" is from a perspective just barely this side of Louis XIV...

You're kidding, right? :D

Keep in mind NBC also runs CNBC, which loves and encourages big business, free trade, and capitalism with a capial C. Just because some talk show hosts on MSNBC may choose sides doesn't mean Brian Williams is a Marxist.

+1 And even MSNBC is only left-leaning in the evenings. Morning Joe is like watching Fox News, hard-right leaning.

You speak toward a point I've been making to debunk the cheesy easy meme of 'the liberal media': Why would mostly conservative corporations and large businesses advertise their products and services with wholesally left-of-center media outlets? There could have easily been the right-tilting equivalent to Fox News Channel started in 1986 instead of 1996. And with the wealth of national advertising/marketing dollars, there's probably enough dough to fund more than one so that every Mike Gallagher and Rusty Humphries out there would have a regular yak show. They don't...and it's not because of some neatly wrapped liberal plot, either.

And its appropriate you'd specifically mention NBC's Brian Williams, who has publicly talked about his personal fandom of Rush Limbaugh. Million dollar Marxist, indeed.

Was this the same Vivian Schiller that fired Fox News Juan Williams from NPR? Also I heard that Vivian Schiller quit when a Chris Hansen Wannabe on the right did an "Investigation" on another NPR management member.

Heres an interesting idea Vivian Schiller can do "To catch a Palin and Trump fanatic" she sends out her people and gets the tea party people. ;D ;D ;D.
Remember when Juan Williams sent his guy to go after Schiller and NPR Management and did an "Invertigation on them. ;D
