WAMi is all about Anna Maria Island, indie music

Its WAMi. The little "i" makes all the difference, right? I'm sure the guys up in Opp wont take offense! ;D

More noteworthy is the following quote; "In addition to its AM availability, WAMi has applied for an FM license and will be available over the Internet." Does Mr. Herman have an app already in for a LPFM from the last go-round? It has been quite awhile since there has been a filing window.

For 50k I bet he put together a heluva nice Part 15 station. Good luck to him.

did anyone else notice radio groupie "medicine man" on the programming board LMFAO! I'm sure it's not the same one..but damn I see him now rolling around AMI on his bike looking for scrap metal and rolling in to do his show on how many skull rings he's found in the mosh pits of Tampa Bay....ohhhh man

I would sell to the curiosity cume. Since it is so tourist oriented, there will be a constant tune in of new listeners.

It is a local station, but only on paper -- its transmitter is in Seminole and its studios are in Tampa.
That could be challenged.
