Voiceovers

Who's the guy from Ch. 13, who does the voiceovers on the local Ford spots?

Steve, you might get a better response if you told us which channel 13 you were talking about - Houston, Lubbock, or Laredo?

His name is Doc Morgan, he's a local (D/FW) voiceover talent. The Ford spots are actually national spots with regional tweaks (I heard his voice on a California Ford dealers' spot while I was in LA last week).

He's in the Texas Association of Film & Tape Professionals' book and on their website, and he's represented by Kim Dawson Talent in Dallas.<P ID="signature">______________

Since we're on the TV voiceover topic, who is the guy
that does the voicing for the Nissan Texas Titan, Dallas
Stars TV and radio spots, and I believe, WFAA TV 8 in Dallas?.
I've heard he is a local guy, but does many national spots.
I'm sorry to say he's horrid, IMO..., with that fake
deep voice flanged kind of crap. Why don't ad agencies
realize real people don't talk like that? Who are they
trying to impress?.
