Volunteer Community Radio Coming???

I am asking you to take a moment to sign a petition that will help get a new full-power community-run radio station up and running. This is to support a federal grant request for construction funds, that is due NEXT WEEK.

The station will broadcast in the Hamlin/Scranton Valley area. At least 500 signatures are needed. This station will be volunteer-fueled and community accessible with a focus on local community issues. The construction permit has been issued by the FCC.

Piss poor retort. Doesn't answer the question even if it was crudely worded. We should take a vote on whether someone calling himself Radiodeity is in any position to post a nebulous ad hominem reply. I think maybe you're the one finished before started.
 
Ya know what? You're right. It wasn't very well worded since I was on the way out somewhere and couldn't believe what I was seeing to my prior post. Why would someone who is attempting to get grants and financing to construct a community radio station reply in a manner like that? Truthfully I couldn't believe what I was seeing. Would that be the stance taken if this 'community radio station' were to actually hit the air - either give a donation to our local service radio outlet or we'll call you a dcik and insult you into giving?

My poorly worded posts were attempting to find the reason why this request was sent with less than one week to go. It made me wonder if that would be the way the operation would be run if it were to actually succeed. I would believe a better comeback would have been “…Yup, you’re right and here’s the reason we didn’t send this out sooner…” not the fifth grade insult involving an underdeveloped penis…

So I’m sorry, I retract all the horrible things I posted prior to this and if I offended anyone, again I’m sorry.

As far as the Radiodeity handle – you’re almost close. I choose it because it’s a ridiculous handle from the get-go only proving I really don’t take myself seriously especially on an open forum radio site. So thanks for noticing.

Now please… let's all play nice and it is sometimes difficult to determine when posts are made with the tongue jammed far into the cheek… Have a great day! ;D
 
Well I think your first mistake and everything that followed was assuming that "The Sigon" has anything to do with the community radio station. Far as I know he or she does not. That post might just be a reaction to your reply in which you seem to have no interest, last minute or otherwise, in supporting a community run radio station.

I don't even have anything to do with it except I volunteered to post the information here.

Ready, fire, aim.
