Just spoke with the Dance Music Hall of Fame event producer and she is in need of some volunteers for the event. If your going to be in Manhattan on Monday and want to help out, go to http://www.dmhof.com/signmeup/volunteer.html and register. Someone will be in touch shortly.

Amazing show this year. Check the other thread for a list of who's appearing, except for the suprise ones we have in store.

Thanks,
jp

Am I hearing that right? Cousin Brucie will MC the event? Now that is out there! Who would have figured a CBS-FM Jock would MC a Dance Music event?

Mabye this means that Fatman Scoop from Hot 97 will be one of the presenters. Other presenters could include but are not limited to

Don Imus
Howard Stern
Allen Sniffen(ok, that's a little too extreme for me, heh heh.)<P
Dan Ingram
Broadway Bill Lee

Just kidding, I don't know what will happen, to be honest.

I know to some it seems a bit out there but if you look at the inductees, he played a lot of their music on WABC and has a great bit of knowledge of the music (from 25 years ago). Brucie also does the PBS specials that relate to this music.

It was actually quite nice of Brucie to do this for us after negotiations with some others didn't work out at the last minute.
