Anyone have any feed back on this unit for FM broadcast? We use the Omnia FM3 turbo now.

We signed-on a new country music FM last year with the VP-8, and have been using it ever since. It sounds really clean, open and "musical" to us with no distortion or heavy bass "thump" like our competitors (not sure what they're using in their audio chains.)

We do get compliments from some of our listeners about how "good" our music sounds.

When scanning the FM band in our market, we don't sound anything like the other signals coming in -- and I mean that as a compliment -- we definitely have a unique "sound" in our market.

We're in a small to medium market, so being the "loudest" station on the dial is not important to us, although we definitely cut through the "clutter".
