VOWR received in Port aux Basques

Late last night, around 2 in the morning, I managed to pick up VOWR from St. John's on AM 800. Not CJAD Montreal or the French station in Quebec City, but mostly religious VOWR. I even heard the call letters. I was in bed listening to a hockey game on WFAN 660 (with my Walkman; and New Jersey lost again) and decided to go around the AM band to see what else I could get. VOWR turned out to be one of those stations. I've now picked up 4 of the 5 AM stations from St. John's (VOCM 590, CBN 640, VOWR 800, CJYQ 930). The only one I'll never get is VOAR on 1210 (and I still get it on 99.9 locally).

Jeepers, given your location, I'd pick up a decent radio (were all your catches with the Walkman?), because you'd probably haul in some really good DX from Europe and Africa. If I can haul in what I do, from my location 1300km to your west, you are in a pretty sweet spot out there on The Rock.

No, I've picked up some stations in the car on both AM and FM.
