Anyone know of any stations being bought by Vox Communications or Vox Radio Group. Curious if they are expanding from New England to the south.

I don't know of any pending deals, but last I heard it was their plan to move to the Southeast. They have now divested most of their stations in the North.

Rumor has it that a small group owner with 3 stations in the Greenville/New Bern/Moorehead City market, has a total market share of less than 5%, who has sent packing 12+ employees in the last few months, operates one station with on-air talent (the other two are automated 24/7), and the GM needs corporate approval to buy toilet paper. Meanwhile, a Vermont radio station broker was having lunch in Greenville as he was studying coverage maps of signals in Greenville, Washington and Morehead City.
