VPR 89.9 Brattleboro, VPR Classical 92.5 Rutland

So I guess this replaces the 94.5 translator in Brattleboro, or will they use 94.5 for classical?

And the article says it’s 88.9, not 89.9, so either they or you had it wrong.

Re: VPR 88.9 Brattleboro, VPR Classical 92.5 Rutland

Let me double check...I was listening to My Place online the other night and I thought they said 88.9

using VPR:
>>88.9 WVBA went on the air in Brattleboro today.

Oh OK; I thought when I heard this was in planning stages it would be 89.9.
radio-locator also says 88.9

Fybush, Aug 2010:
>>*VERMONT Public Radio, which has long sought a full-power signal in the Brattleboro area, will finally get one as a result of the FCC's latest batch of noncommercial tentative selections. VPR's application for 88.9 in Brattleboro edged out four other applicants for Brattleboro and adjoining areas in NEW HAMPSHIRE.

OK, I got it wrong! More than enough proof. Thanks

I think I read the 94.5 in B'boro will be part of the classical net. In fact, yes, from the newest Fybush column (and again he has WVBA being at 88.9):
>> WVBA replaces VPR’s current Brattleboro translator at 94.5. which will slide over to VPR’s classical network once the transition is complete; it also comes with a new Brattleboro studio at the Marlboro College Graduate Center.

I see that the 94.5 translator has a CP to move to 94.3, and up the power from 10 to 190 watts.
