W O W ! Latino 96.3 BESTS JACK!

Man, O U T of the box, LATINO is a smash, geez, already 9th in the market in two solid trends as this trend clearly shows problems in the last sample as I stated here previously.

SBS gets congrats for LA RAZA coming in solid third place. I believe the expert, my colleague Mr. Eduardo stated many many posts back that KLAX and Renan wouldn't last, KSCA would "topple" it's gains and his statements of course were supported by Mr. Richards that spoke of KLAX' meteoric rise as a fluke, etc. You both were dead wrong. Can that be? Yeah, let's see some honesty that Mr. Eduardo's "predictions" were wrong.

Amazing that LATINO bested JACK in a shorter period of time with a lot less in market promotion as LATINO is being promoted via word of mouth.

Congrats to SBS for a great trend.

Jack beat Latino where it counts - adults 25-54 - their target.

So I wasn't "dead wrong". Nor was I using the meaningless 12+ numbers to make a point.

And neither was David.<P ID="signature">______________

However, in 25-54, Jack beats Latino three to one. Latino is 90% 12-24 year olds.

This is one trend, unweighted. KSCA is still the #2 Spanish station in 25-54, right after KLVE. Renan has had one good month out of every three lately, in LA, but loses by factors of as much as 5 to one in Phoenix, 9 to one in Las vegas, 5 to one in San Diego, 2 to one to 3 to one in San Francisco, etc.

KLAX has had no meteroic rise. It has been very tight for KSCA, KLAX and KBUE for months, but KSCA take the 25-54. And that is all that matters.

Teens move very fast. Adults in sales demos don't.
