W226CT Leeds sold

W226CT 93.1 licensed to Leeds has been sold to Rivera Communications, owner of WAYE, for $110k. Not entirely sure, but I believe the seller, Avondale Metal Works, is somehow associated with the Reynolds radio group, as the address listed for W226CT at fccdata.org had someone whose last name is Reynolds (had at least that particular property listed under that name, according to records online). So if that is indeed the case, add another name to the pile that the Reynolds radio group uses. Reynolds did try to sell W252BE Tarrant to Rivera more than a year ago, but it appears the sale was never finalized...my guess is bc the FCC hasn't acted as to whether there even IS a broadcast license to transfer for W252BE at this point.

I feel like I need a spreadsheet at this point to keep up with all their names. I wonder if this has any move-in potential to a more lucrative part of town? The location now seems to only cover 280 around Inverness and Chelsea. If it could shift west to Hoover that might reach more of the station's demographic.
