W232AL Being Sold

W232AL was the second incarnation of WFAS-FM from the end of 2014 to its final days of irrelevance (2016??). It was a 250 watt pizza slice pattern. Couldn't get it in downtown White Plains, but it came in great in Mahwah and Suffern.

I would bet this is for Air1. EMF usually pays based on their formula of folks in the coverage.
I am not privy to it but IMHO: it is most likely is based or per person in the 60db. Another plus the potential fund raising form folks that can afford Manhattan rent. They might have got a "deal" when you look at average incomes in zip codes in the 60 db.

Most of the people in those coverage areas will not be listening to Air 1 i can assure you

Here's an update on W232AL. It has flipped to Radio Nueva Vida after several weeks of simulcasting K-Love (WPLJ). I found the format change Sunday evening while doing a bandscan. The new format is also on 95.5 WPLJ HD4.

The Bronx. Fairview and Union City, NJ. Yeah.

But in ratings, it is about covering HDHAs, not just Hispanic populations. But this operation is driven by "population coverage" and not ratings.
