W243CD 96.5 GLoucester

I'm surprised no one mentioned this yet from www.fybush.com:

On the North Shore, translator profiteer Radio Assist Ministry gets $22,000 for the license to W243CD (96.5 Gloucester). The buyer, White Mountain Broadcasting tells the FCC it intends to use the translator to relay Calvary's WSMA (90.5 Scituate) - we note that the New Hampshire phone number listed for White Mountain happens to be that of Brian Dodge's WWNH (1340 Madbury), for whatever that might be worth.
****************************************************************

For what it's worth, the PO Box for White Mountain Broadcasting and Richard Cochran is in Durham. The phone number for White Mountain is (603) 743-3334 which isn't even WWNH's main number. 603-742-8575 is the main number and if you dial that and it's busy, it auto rolls over to (603) 743-3334.

Brian is well known for his less then stellar engineer beliefs and practices. WWNH has been a 250W CP since 1989, yet he's operating it at 1KW because "As a Class C, you can go to a full 1KW as long as you don't interfere with anyone, no matter what the license says"...so he told me.

He also was once quoted as telling someone when asked where his public file is, "I have 24 hours to produce it". When the then WMEX sale was announced, it was floated down the grape vine that he showed up at their studios to read the public file, dig up some dirt or cause trouble and was thrown out of the studio when he started verbally abusing the staff.

Something sounds fishy with this translator sale.

Brian Dodge is still qualified to hold a license? He's a convicted felon! I thought the FCC took care of him a while ago....guess not. Maybe I should take a stroll down there and look at HIS public file. I'd love to have him tell me "I have 24 hours to produce it".

Apparently he's still around and kicking. A friend of mine worked at that 1340 AM as program director for a short period of time a few years ago. No one listens to that station anyway. That day a few years ago when that guy from the New York Yankees died in that plane crash my friend simulcast coverage from WPIX-TV's web stream over the airwaves of 1340 and not one person called the station to complain about the pre-emption of the regular programming.

Go and pay him a visit, 244 Route 155/Knox Marsh Road just outside of Dover, up the driveway from a Landscaping place.

Good luck finding the public file! Just don't go there after a heavy rain, your vehicle might get stuck in the mud! As well, if you walk up the driveway, you might get stuck too!

From necrat.com

Ernie no longer works there, had a heart attack in the studio one day after his show and left after his doctor told him to "reduce his stress"

For anyone who hasn't seen it, here is the infamous 1997 FCC complaint about Brian Dodge. Thanks to Scott and Garrett.

http://www.bostonradio.org/dodge-complaint.html

Found something else interesting.

Read the Dodge Complaint.. PO Box 1840 is mentioned a few times for several entities that Brian Dodge is a part of.

now, look here: http://www.fccinfo.com/CMDProEngine.php?sCurrentService=FM&tabSearchType=Appl&sAppIDNumber=194446 an application for 88.1 in Rochester by "Granite State Education Fellowship".... Look at their address, PO Box 1840.

Now google PO Box 1840 Dover, NH and it comes back to Dover Women's Aid, a real charity.

Brian Dodge had an application for 88.1 in Rochester, but under a completely different name and address

Hmmmm
