Still listed on the FIU website as well as the FCC's as an active station, yet they have been silent for well over a year.
Every now and then, their mono carrier comes up without audio, unless I am getting an undocumented station, also in North Miami and very near or within the campus. Does anyone have any 411?
 
Last evening, dead carriers of equal strength were heard on both channels 245 and 241, yet nothing is listed for that area on 96.1.
An undocumented station, perhaps ???

How PC of you to use that word. A seven-letter word beginning with "I" nails it better, though.

The 96.1 has been on and off for years. It has been called Mixx [sic] 96, but not sure what it is now. Prolly the same.

Um, you probably don't mean inocent.
Undocumented because they likely failed to notify a regulatory agency of their intention to serve the public convenience and necessity.
Yeah, the 96.1 is hammering away again.
 
FINALLY back on the air as of some time today.
How long will they remain?
