Oh yea, that's true. I suppose they could put on WKRC, since that was the rumored fit for 94.5 before it went WLW.
Signally speaking, maybe it should go to 1360 since their signal is horrid in NKy, but that stations ratings are so low it may not even be worth it. Maybe 1530 since their audio sounds like a shortwave radio station..

I notice that too regarding 1530's audio. The signal has gotten to the point as you said sounds like they are broadcasting from the old USSR early evening and night time. 1360 barely makes it to my location in Grant County even during the day when they are at 5000 watts. Forget them at night.

LOL! Isn't it amazing.. I have never heard a powerhouse signal like 1530 with such flat as a pancake audio with the exception of the old WYFR out of Florida! Seems like 1530 is in it's best element at 3am with Roy Masters broadcasting to the Turks and Caicos islands from Villa Hills! The 1520 in Albany NY is another one that comes to mind..
Regarding 102.3, I wonder if Wilmington's WKLN had to agree to any new 102.3 signal in Cincy. I believe WKLN and WNLT have the same ownership, which would make the new W272BY EMF signal rather easy IMO, if necessary..

Oddly enough, I have been noticing improvements with 1530's audio quality and signal over the past few days. The audio sounds fuller and much less flat, and the signal holds pretty steady until after sunset, but doesn't fade as bad as it used to. Wonder if the CC engineers did a tune-up before the Bengals season kicks off in earnest? It finally sounds like a 50,000 watt station again.
