W276CO Launched?

is there anyone who lives in or near fond Du lac Wisconsin if so can anyone confirm is 103.1 now broadcasting 92.5 WMBZ

it'd been down for years and there is reports that it finally returned to the air.

I'm in Madison and I would love to know

It has been on for maybe a week or so. I am sure that there are some WOGB listeners in Fond du Lac that are not happy about it. Driving south from Oshkosh during the day, it starts to interfere around the Winnebago/FDL county line. Driving north from FDL after sundown, OGB is already cutting in just past North Fond du Lac.

I just reached out to Terry Davis at Radio Plus for comment and both of us have sent in a comment to the FCC with our concerns and comments.

For starters let's get into why I joined in the FCC in requesting a comment including our concerns.

The translator is over 30 miles from the originating station!
The translator interferes with WOGB - a full power station - Co-Channel Rule!
The Translator also impacts 103.3 FM W277AC - A Translator - Adjacent Channel Rule!

LMS shows "resume operations" was filed with the FCC last Tuesday.

WMBZ puts a pretty good signal into Fond du Lac (it's right on the edge of their local coverage area). I am assuming they just did this for the dial position, since 103.1 is a lot closer to 107.1 The Bull (FDL station, also Country) than 92.5 is.

i used to live in Fond Du Lac I miss it so much. i believe they also have 99.5 FM PKR - as a side note I just noticed SlowJams was the one who found 94.7 FM WGGQ in 2023.

I was the Guest DJ on that radio station it was a pirate radio station, I guess its still on the air, it's on 87.7 FM last I visited Fond Du Lac.

It was operated by another gentlemen who mostly had automated by a computer it operated at the same building as 103.1 FM 15 N Married St. It ran at 120 watts just like 103.1 FM.

Fond Du Lac has sure had major change in Radio - I heard straight from Radio Plus WMDC is also working on a getting a translator for the Great 98 possible frequencies includes 102.5 FM or 105.1 FM.
