W285DE changing frequencies

John Fuller's W285DE Bridgeport has applied to move from 104.9 to 104.5 with 250 watts from the same site. This is necessary to solve interference complaints from WIHS.

XLO doesn't get anywhere near Bridgeport, and the spacing looks really clear. It's pretty cozy up against proposed first-adjacent WAXQ New York, however.

This is the BEST possible scenario for ALL involved! :)

I will also say that it is, quite literally, an ANSWER TO PRAYER! :)

BTW, that dead-air pirate on 104.5 in New Haven is NOW GONE, after MONTHS of being there. This is also good for Mr Fuller's translator! ;)

IT IS DONE!!! WIHS is now IN THE CLEAR!! :D

The translator has moved to 104.5 sometime in the last few days. Our signal is once again CRYSTAL CLEAR in Orange, CT, where it was once COMPLETELY covered-over! :) It should also be quite listenable in Milford, as well as parts of Stratford, Bridgeport, and Trumbull. :)
