W34CK is now WEDE-CA Arlington Heights

I noticed that W34CK became WEDE-CA. According to the FCC it changed in May. I don't recall it being discussed here before? Has it?

I noticed the FCC says Channel 34 is under licensee "First United," while Channel 62 is under licensee "Jovan Broadcasting"

What's up with that? Or am I reading something wrong<P ID="signature">______________

Maybe First United purchased it and change call letters. If they are smart they should change the programming. Ch 62 blows big time

The 24/7 simulcast of Ch62 on Ch34 was dropped over a year ago. Ch62 dropped "34" from its station IDs. Except for JBTV, I never watch either channel!

Correct, they don't simulcast 24/7, but they do simulcast a decent amount of the time. I agree, both channels have nothing worth watching. At least 23 puts on decent programming even though the signal is weak. However, down here in NW Indiana when it was mentioned that the tilt was removed on here, the reception got really bad, but most of the time now it is a pretty watchable signal with only a little snow unless there's DX or Tropo or something like that going on. That's when the signal can get bad.

In 2001 (Or 02) I cought them running HSN on 34 not long after WEHS went Telefutora
