WAAF sucks now fair and square......

Used to be 1 of my favorites here in Upstate NY (They used to make it wonderfully before they moved thier stick.)

:(

Tuned into their satellite on 97.7 today while on I-90 from Millbury towards Framingham. The signal was barely there but I was able to hear their legal say "WKAF-Brockton/Boston, WAAF-Westborough". I found it odd that they ID'ed their satellite first. Weird!

When I heard them ID a few weeks ago, it went.."WAAF Westborough Boston WKAT Brockton Boston"....

And if you go only approx 6mi S of the Millbury exit (RT 146) onto Central Turnpike you will occasionally get 97.7 on seek but seek/scan right past 107.3. I can imagine how degraded the signal (107.3)has become in CT.

Do you mean MA Route 146 heading towards Woonsocket, RI and eventually Providence?

I know this is out of the lines of ct,
but how far do you have to go for the signal to reach on the I-91 corridor now. about where 97.77 would come in? I know I cannot get AAF in springfield on I-91 at all anymore

Yes- (Central Turnpike is in Sutton, MA)

those maps help but are not that accurate. for example WCCC will not penetrate southern fairfield county ct at all whereas it will come in off that map up in putney VT radio-locator does not pick up terrain that well. I wish they could like the noaa weather radio maps

for example like these two
