WAAF's Eighties at 8

It seems rare to discover something different and positive in what commercial radio stations offer us. I applaud the variety in WAAF's daily offering of songs from the eighties at 8P. Hearing Elvis Costello and Guns and Roses in the same half hour really rings the bell for this child of the eighties. There has been at least one "ow wow" song every time in the 8 songs at 8P they are choosing. WZLX's "Box Set" at the same time is also a feature worth listening to.

Honestly I haven't loyally listened to WAAF since 1999 or so, but the other nite I was in the car and stopped at 97.7 and heard The Police's "Walking On the Moon" and instantly was taken aback. After the song they announced this was the 80's at 8. If this is a new thing then I applaud them..
