I was trying to reach www.waaf.com tonight and found it unavailable... does anyone know if this is just a tech thing or foreshadowing of something more radical... with all the Howard stations in this country flipping to FREE FM (Talk) and with WAAF's share below a 2 (12+) could there be anything to this? Any answers anyone? I am not in market so I can't tune in and check myself. Thanks for any info you have access to.

still down

Still down as of Saturday morning. The DNS name is ok, so maybe the server crashed. That means the WRKO studio cam is down too.

That's prob the case--last night when I tried it I got a message saying
"a timeout occurred when trying to contact waaf.com" --server crash,
most likely, or change of nameserver (takes awhile to take effect)<P ID="signature">______________

It's a holiday weekend, maybe they don't have an IT in there or on call early this morning.

WAAF.com is back up.

Sounds about right to me. Each website matches up with an IP address, for example Radio-Info is at 72.29.72.89 right now, if they change servers/hosting companies there could be some downtime involved.

Either way, this is a non-story; WAAF.com is back up.

WAAF.com is back online.
