Ron Reams, who substituted for Uncle Henry on WNTM-AM yesterday, discussed the state of radio news with a listener who called the show. The host referred to WABB-AM as "a news/talk station" in Mobile without mentioning its call letters or frequency (1480) before criticizing it for being a locally-owned station without local programming (with the exception of the simulcast of WALA-TV's morning newscast) and having national radio programs most of the time. He said it was worse as satellite radio.

It's not as if WNTM has a lot to brag about. You can't log any complaints to a local owner--there isn't one.
