Yawn. The polka format joke is about as old and tired as Marconi himself. Can't we come up with original formats? Maybe traditional samoan folk music, or perhaps bavarian hip-hop? Just anything other than polka?

The music they play is just awful
This area has too many country and rap stations. (yes, WABB can be heard out here..it would come in a lot stronger if i had a real antenna, too)

2- maybe 4 rap songs an hour depending on daypart doesn't even come close to being a rap station!

Does playing a Taylor Swift song make them a country station?

When was the last time you actually listened for longer than 1 minute? ABB is probably right down the middle of a mainstream chr as they come now a days.

Tell you what. You listen for one full hour. Write down every song you hear during that date/time. I'll compare with mediabase and we'll try and figure out what you're hearing in your head.

I can confirm that Al's an incredible person outside of the studio, and I agree that this bit of news really sucks. My late father worked with his late(?) father as Christian Methodist Episcopal ministers, and I know of him and his mother through that connection. I'll definitely pray he gets a new gig quick, radio or not.
