WABB'S LAST SONG SHOULD BE.........

"Stuck Inside Of Mobile With The Memphis Blues Again" by Bob Dylan. That is what it stated according to Wikipedia. If that does hold true, then that should be the last song played at 97.5 WABB-FM. From a radio fanatic from Northern New Jersey, I do want to say sorry to see this legendary Top 40 station go and long live their legendary format of Top 40 WABB!

What I meant to say here is that the last song that should be played which was the first song played on WABB-FM in 1973. I just went by Wikipedia and that's how! I hope I stand corrected and long live WABB-FM!

Agreed.

If i may make requests for SECOND to last songs..

"Do you Remember Rock and Roll Radio" by the Ramones (although, if it were THE last song, it would be ironic as the Ramones say "Stay Tuned for more rock-n-roll", as the station goes into Amy Grant. Then again, that could be the last song on 104.1)

"Crocodile Rock" by Elton John (Suzie could represent the advertisers or some of the listeners, who went to the "Foreign Guy" (Clear Channel))

"American Pie" by Don McLean (February made me shiver.... no explaining needed there)

"Too Many People" by Paul McCartney (Go out firing at 107.3 and Clear Channel).

WABB: 1973-2012 :'(

Yes, sir, according to Cherish Lombard, hostess of "Studio 10" on Fox 10 TV and former WABB deejay, that WILL be the last song played tonight just before midnight....

Here's another song idea:

Sister Christian by Night Ranger (a jab at the new format coming)

"Don't Stop Believing", with EMF abruptly cutting off the song after the last 'Don't stop' chorus. ???

I know of a former rocker that was sold to EMF back in 2003.. They ended their automated rock with AC/DC "Highway to hell" before EMF did the STL Switch to the tower site with the KLove feed in progress.
