WABC Airing Several New Debate Shows on Sundays

AllAccess reports that under new ownership, the talk station has a pair of shows over the weekend that feature discussions between left and right leaning personalities. Apparently different people will be on them each week. Perhaps if these shows and other potential new programs garner a decent size audience, WABC could replace some of the infomercial programming that dominates during weekends.

I doubt it, especially now when there are even fewer advertisers than before.

Not sure. It was the guest, not the host. The callers were yelling too. My wife asked me to turn it off!!

Chris Hahn, who has a notoriously severe anger management problem, participated in the debut show. For that reason, I did not tune in. I think debating the issues of the day can be an interesting format when conducted in a civil manner. Scream Fests are not the way to go, in my opinion.
