WABC at 5am and Paul Harvey?

If Imus is starting at 6 does that mean Coast to Coast will be expanded to an extra hour? I can't imagine them doing an infomercial on weekday morning drive. So that leaves an Imus replay or Coast to Coast? Also what about the 8:30 am edition of Paul Harvey? Will that continue or will he be eliminated from morning drive until after John Gambling?

Some stations do a news hour in a situation like that. Sure, there's plenty of news on 1010 and 880, but they could make it a bit more exciting. Of course, didn't Chuck McCord started the WFAN show around 5:30 with news before the real show started at 6am?

The 5:30 AM segment usually consisted of Imus best-of clips, then Chuckie Mac would come on with the news at around 6.

Currently, WFAN does a show morning at 5 am called "The Morning Warm-Up" leading into Boomer & Carton at 6 am. It is hosted by Chris Carlin and usually co-hosted by YES Network personality Kim Jones.

So Where is Imus?

Maybe I missed the memo, but I haven't read anything stating that Imus is returning to broadcasting, let alone at WABC.

All I've read is speculation he and his former cohorts maybe back on the air in September.

Well October is almost over and still no Imus in the Morning.

Is it certain Imus will return, or is this nothing but speculation?
