WABC Dumps Travel Show

If you tuned in Sunday afternoon at 2 PM expecting that travel show, it has been replaced by a new show with John Batchelor contributor Aaron Klein. The pitch is "he talks to terrorists." He apparently did his first show live from Israel.

I heard the final segment where he let a caller go on before wrapping up the call by saying, "let me tell you why you're wrong..." Yep, just the typical radio you don't already expect from WABC 24/7.
 
From what I heard, Klein was mentioning WABC by its call letters. But I'm sure Citadel is hoping this takes off so that maybe it can be another vehicle it can use for weekend syndication... maybe as a "mix and match" for Batchelor affiliates...

And I had forgotten that they no longer air Bob Brinker's "Moneytalk" - which is interesting in that Citadel or ABC syndicates that show - this past Sunday, they had a "life coach" guest host at 4 PM. She opened by saying something along the lines of, we know what you hear all week long. Now, it's time for something different... Within seconds, I heard an Obama sound bite. Click...
