WABC / John Sterling

According to a post by Andrew Marchand on X (see below), the now-retired radio voice of the New York Yankees will be doing an hour of sports talk this Saturday (4/26) at 4:00p.

I wonder whose idea this was, and if this is a prelude to a regular gig. We know Sterling was so eager to return when he pulled that ego trip at the end of last baseball season. But at age 86, do we want to hear him do sports talk at this stage?

You’d think WABC would update the schedule listing on their own website. But this is WABC, after all.
Guess that may be it for “Left vs. Right”.

It appears that in 2025 quite a few radio websites in NYC are no longer a priority concerning air talent. Many having talent listings and scheduling totally outdated. When I was at KTU, 1996-2006 the DJ's photos were prominently displayed. You have to go through quite a few steps now to access it.

WABC's website is updated for John Sterling and they bumped up "Left vs. Right" to 3pm. Honestly they are quite proactive at show listings.
