WABC Overnights

Premiere took away C2C from WRKO Boston and put it on their WKOX 1200 within days; now WRKO replaces it with Red Eye Radio, also on WABC, KABC, and a station in Portland OR among others.

Ron Lundy was better than any of this!

Never mind Ron Lundy, bring back Charlie Greer! Dennison commercials every 10 minutes, has gotta be better than Gleaming gold U.S. coins and In Charge Debt Solutions every 5 minutes!! :D

... it appears that Doug will actually be heard "live" on early Tuesday to Saturday mornings, with (I assume) a pre-recorded show on Saturday night/Sunday morning. I assume this means WABC gets 1 night of Germain followed by 5 "live" nights of McIntyre followed by 1 "pre-recorded" night of McIntyre.

My guess is that on Friday nights/Saturday mornings, WABC will continue to air infomercials, with which the station has replaced the Friday night/Saturday morning edition of "Coast To Coast," even to this day. It would be a testament to CC if the very last night the show was eligible for broadcast on WABC, that they'd be replaced with infomercials.

To quote the huckster characters on "In Living Color": "Mo' money, mo' money, mo' money!"

Correct me if I'm wrong, but hasn't WABC aired informercials all night on Saturday mornings for nearly a decade already?

Actually, I think it's more like the better part of just about half of the last decade...
