WABE HD Audio Quality

Something bad is wrong with the high frequencies on WABE HD channels 1 and 3 (maybe HD 2 also, I never listened to it). Specifically, the high frequencies are boosted. If I am not mistaken, they are broadcasting HD with the 75 microsecond pre-emphasis used with analog FM. I first noticed this in about March or April of 2008, about 4 months after I put an HD radio in my car. It has been the same now for over 1.5 years.

I agree, when the blend from analog to HD takes place, all of the bottom end seems to drop out of the audio. Voice audio is very "essy"
