According to All Access,WADB, will flip to Fox sports on January 7.
Can anything be done for this station or is it nothing but a big electric bill?

Three stations on 1310 kHz are simply too many for a small state like New Jersey. The landscape would be much better served if WADB in Monmouth County and WXMC in Morris County were both shut down and replaced by a single, centrally located station on 1310 in Middlesex County. (I'd leave WEMG alone because it's well positioned to serve the Hispanic population of the Philly/Camden area.)

In fact, you could put the new 1310 on or near the former WERA transmitter site in South Plainfield, and it would make a great signal to serve the large Indian population in the area. Or, perhaps, a Country music format aimed at the central NJ suburbanites who are a bit too far East to get a good signal from WCTO or WXTU -- exactly the same area that Stirling Country WKMB used to serve. (I know that WADB just dumped a Country format, but in this case it would actually have a useful signal.)
