Veteran programmer Wade Linder segues into a corporate role at Cumulus Media as Vice President of classic rock. In his new post, Linder will serve on the radio group’s content leadership team working with its 34 classic rock radio stations. He reports to Troy Hanson, VP/Corporate Programming, rock formats.
Linder will continue in his current role as Program Director for classic hits WLS-FM Chicago (94.7), a position he has held since 2018, following four years as Program Director of the former classic rock WLUP-FM. Prior to that, Linder spent nearly two decades programming rock “93X” KXXR Minneapolis.
“Wade’s intellect, imagination and prowess across formats will serve him really well in this important new capacity,” Executive VP, Content & Audience Brian Philips said in a release.
