Had a buddy of mine tell me he was one of the WAEB "Pool Reporters" back in the 60s... when they would go to local pools and ask all the kids who were there what their favorite songs were, and they'd call back to the station with their results. Any memories of these folks?

I remember the pool-side reporters used to call back to the station and give "Tiger" Joe McClaine the top songs of the day from pools in Allentown, Coplay, Northampton, Egypt, Catty, North Catty as a matter of fact I think I remember a few pools north & south of Allentown: Slatington & Quakertown. I seem to remember the reporters also calling in to Gene Kaye, and Rod Carson, Jay Sands, Doug Weldon and Jeff Frank filling in from time to time and can't forget about Super Lou. Now if I can only locate that reel of jingles from Fenwick Street. The Mighty 790.<P ID="signature">______________
