WAIO/Rochester shuffles the deck

Per AllAccess.com and RadioInsight.com, here's what's happening at Rochester's WAIO(Radio 95.1):

*Comedian Earl David Reed has exited afternoons.

*Rich Deaver and Jeff Rizzo take over 2-6pm. They had worked together previously at a station in Traverse City, Mich.; Daly has worked at WDZH/Detroit(when it was Amp Radio 98.7; it's now Alt 98.7), WIOQ(Q102)/Philly and WFLZ/Tampa.

*Previously, WAIO announced that Jeremy Newman(who does double duty for co-owned WDVI(Country 100.5)as its PM driver) and Rochester radio veteran Pete "The Mayor" Kennedy(who did mornings for WDVI before it shifted to country last year)would be doing 9-11am. That shaves 2 hours off of Brother Wease's morning show. (Radio Insight first reported that bit of news.)
